STEP 1. Enquire about a 1:1 training session, I will send you a form that asks you questions about your dog and what you hope to achieve.
STEP 2. We'll book in a mutually convenient time and place to meet (usually the clients home).
STEP 3. A training session is roughly an hour. During this time I will talk you through practical ways to address the problems. Depending on the issue, this may involve teaching you how to train an alternative behaviour, manage the situation or a bit of both.
STEP 4. I'll give you a training plan and send you written instructions and videos to refer to. I'll support you by email or text.
STEP 5. How many training sessions you need will depend on your dog, the severity of the problem and your commitment to training. It is unlikely that a problem will be fixed in a one hour training session but clients often report immediate improvement.
N.B. It is very common for someone to get in touch about a problem they have with their dog, only to later reveal several different issues they are having. We will address the important issue first and discuss other problems if time allows or book in another session.
N.B. Not all problems can be fixed by training. Some issues require constant management and some require medication.
